ten tenths get together

if this post bombs then i will apologise in advance but trying a bit of a friends re-united thing. i dont know if this has been tried but at every race meeting more or less through the season we have ten-tenths members all on here arranging to meet up. i have done it myself and had some crackin nights. my thought was, would there be any interest if in the quiet season (the winter) away from things like award ceremonys would any ten-tenthers be up for one big get together, either at a hotel or campsite for a weekend to all have a giant drink together to finally put a name to faces and have a laugh but maybe even throw in some karting or something at the same time. iam posting this now as it gives time to get something sorted if anyone is interested

Preferably somewhere with snow - always makes the place look prettier - and you can write your names in the morning!

Somewhere in Wales would be nice, but if there's snow on the ground it might not make the best location for driving.

I suppose it could always be combined with a marshal's track day - either night before or after and camp.

That would be either near Pembrey, Llandow, or Anglesey. Or if Dr Palmer is being nice again this year, Oulton Park.

Some of us live a bit far away to socialise with many of you although do they still send Irish members who steal loaves of bread down here

There are several of us down here who meet up at away events and several interstate members have been known to make contact when visiting our local tracks.

We camp on New Year's eve with our VW Split Screen Van Club at Rutland near Peterborough. It's very central as we are spread over the country too. The campsite is pretty quiet and the owners are great. It's child friendly and we have a field to ourselves. We set up a marquee and have a huge fire to keep warm, and lots af alcohol too. Those that go are know as the Rutland Hardcore Camping Posse!

Be great to have a TenTenths gathering there too!
