MotoGP Round 14 at Estoneril
14th race of 18 in MotoGP and it's first race where championship can be clinched. Casey Stoner leads by 85 points so if he wins, Rossi needs 5th place to keep (very) theoretical hopes alive. Last year we had surprising winner with Toni Elias.
1. STONER Casey AUS 271 2. ROSSI Valentino ITA 186 3. PEDROSA Dani SPA 168 4. VERMEULEN Chris AUS 144 5. HOPKINS John USA 140 6. MELANDRI Marco ITA 126 Smaller classes have only 13th race, as they didn't race at Laguna Seca. Lorenzo is almost sure to win 2nd consecutive quarter-litre title, after Dovizioso retired in Misano. But the fight of 2nd place is still on, only one point between Dovi and de Angelis. Estoril hasn't been good track for Jorge, it's one of those places where he hasn't won, even in 125. On this track Honda may be better than on most tracks. 1. LORENZO Jorge SPA 241 2. DE ANGELIS Alex RSM 187 3. DOVIZIOSO Andrea ITA 186 4. BAUTISTA Alvaro SPA 135 5. BARBERA Hector SPA 119 6. AOYAMA Hiroshi JPN 108 125cc is only class where there is still excitement of who becomes champion. Talmacsi and Faubel have been swapping lead in recent races. There is often many riders in the fight for race victory, so there are good chances that there will be riders between them in the race result. 1. TALMACSI Gabor HUN 189 2. FAUBEL Hector SPA 179 3. KOYAMA Tomoyoshi JPN 145 4. PESEK Lukas CZE 129 5. CORSI Simone ITA 119 6. GADEA Sergio SPA 118 |

Dovi pulled off a brilliant win last season at Estoril, so he's the man there. I recall Lorenzo rode like some feeble shadow of himself, but I don't see that being the case this year. de Angelis will fall off and restore the rightful 250cc order.
As for 125's....can anyone read that? |

in Moto GP: Stoner, Daylight, Vermulen Hopkins Rossi, the rest, the usual
in 250cc: usual suspects, Lorenzo for the win though. |

Pedrosa will repeat his action of last year, this time it will be on Rossi. Stoner will win and be crowned World Champion.
Oops I just gave away the result for the FIM winners game |

Last year's race is untouchable.
Hopefully we will see some sort of battle... for second. |

I think we might have a good battle. It looks like Michelin has found something. Stoner is still the favourite, but maybe he has to battle for it this time. Let's hope Pedrosa doesn't do anything silly

POLE FOR NICKY!!! What a brilliant lap. Stoners lap was very spectacular, with the back wheel in the air at multiple points on the circuit!
Tamada 4th by the way, next year every body will want the dunlop tyre! This track is a great motorcycle track, that last corner is magical, I even saw some wheel spin!!! |

Great lap by Nicky for pole!
Both Suzukis further down than usual (Hopper 10 ChrisV 12) West out qualifies Randy for the 1st time (although well down the pack). Casey pipped at the post, but was setting times consistently faster than Rossi on race tyres. |

Nicky, you did yourself proud! And we have a solid front row including Stoner and Rossi. Hope the Michelin shod guys can come up with a trick or two and make a race of it. I can't ask for anything more than that. If it has to be a Stoner win, couldn't he at least botch the start and come from behind?

This Gabor press conference doesn't live up to expectations. He just speaks Rossi English. that's funny enough I guess.

Exciting race
top 3 will be happy... and I dont mind the result....just allows Casey to wrap it up at Philip Island thats all! Congrats to Rossi - Pedrosa was great in 2nd but he let Vale off - very sensible and mature ride by Casey I now will exit stage right to avoid chunder and the rossi fanboys Last edited by ozrevhead; 16 Sep 2007 at 14:54. |

This is how we want it! A shame Stoner couldn't really mix it with the top 2.
250 and 125 were fun as well! |

Missed 250s because F1 but 125 was great and MotoGP good. Good to see Rossi back on top after few bad races. 125 title race got closer and we saw Espargaro taking his first podium.
