Liuzzi ran wide through the corner, and slowed down to try and stay on the line, whilst a normal person trying to win the race would accelerate on that point. that's what caused the crash. if it's anyone's fault, it was Liuzzi's

Kimi and Luizzi both say it was one of those things.

Well, I thoroughly enjoyed helping commentate the race with you guys. Nice way to add 100 odd posts to your tally...

Haven't had so much fun watching a race in years and years! And now I have 250 posts...weee!

I just hope that the TGF incident isn't glossed over, as it was against the laws of the sport...

Very well done to Button. From 14th and a 10 grid postion penaulty.

Very good day, great stuff.

Awesome when Fernando retired! Shame that Schui had to.

I really don't like Alonso at all now with his disugsting driving, well the way he feels he has to wave his fists at everyone he overtakes and tries to cut across them. Its not needed and a great shame as he's a great driver.

you know it takes the stewards always a few laps to even start investigating that sort of stuff. and by the time that happened, he had already retired. and btw, there were only 6 laps to go, if he'd gotten a drive through, he'd have repeated Silverstone '98

The Stewards need to get the reports from the corner workers, etc. before they can start to investigate an incident like that.

Brilliant race and some real standout performances!

Button, what can you say? Class.

Alonso was masterful.

Heidfeld, BMW's first podium!

Kubica a sensation.

etc...etc...

The podium was full of firsts. de la Rosa's first rostrum, BMW's first rostrum and Button and Honda's first win. How refreshing is that? After five frankly turgid races, we get a belter at Hungaroring!
