STR to become full constructor
In order to compete next season STR must become independent of RBR.This now looks like it's going to happen.

Why cant RBT build parts on behalf of STR? The designs can come from Faenza, via a photocopy from RBR but anyone can actually build the parts cant they?

I think that the concorde agreement requires that the teams design, make the parts and build the cars chassis on their own premises. They can use outside sources for parts that aren't specified in the concorde agreement (gearboxes, engines etc).

Yes, but there will be ways and means around this, they've got the finest brains in The World in this business.
Let's face it, they've just convinced the FIA that the holes in the double diffusor floor aren't actually holes, but something else and so are therefore not illegal! |
