BRSCC Race Weekend at Cadwell Park - 2nd & 3rd June 2012
Cadwell Park is the place to be on the 2nd and 3rd of June. Excellent grids with 3 Fiesta championships, including our friends from north of the border and of course the Jedi's, will there be new lap record again? And who can forget the Alfa Romeo’s? If that hasn’t whetted your appetite how about 11 races for Ma5da MX-5s with well over 70 cars entered!!
 There is an improved "thank-you note" at sign-on and a free Jubilee themed BBQ for ALL marshals/officials on the Saturday evening in the Marshals campsite with a raffle. There is still time to get your name down so contact David Owen, dsowen57@btinternet.com or Ken Wilson, post17@btinternet.com if you want to join in the fun.  Good weather has been ordered!! Looking forward to this one. The Ma5das last year at Oulton we had 50 some tyre wall rebuilds and a 100 or so recoveries and that ws in 1 day so what will happen at Cadwell over 2 days?

anything like 750 meeting it will be busy.
 make sure you have your weetabix/shredded wheat you may need your strength  .hope too many dont go out sat as only can make sunday, so save some for me

Still time to volunteer! If you're still not sure the timetable has been amended. Now with fewer races due to combined grids (Fiestas), longer lunch break both days and earlier finishes both days. More time to spend in the FREE BBQ!!
 Total entries are near the 200 mark. See you there!!

Sign on times at Cadwell rarely vary usually 07.45 - 08.15 - but you already know that now....

So THANK YOU to all the Marshals, Recovery, Rescue units and officials from myself the clerks and the BRSCC for stirling work both today and yesterday so that despite weather and incident we managed to finish a challenging programme 3 minutes EARLY.
Thank you also to BRSCC (N) for putting on the BBQ and the new expenses "thanks you" - it makes a difference.

On behalf of the BRSCC Northern Centre Committee we would like to thank all marshals and officials for all their help at Cadwell last weekend. Despite trying conditions everything went smoothly and punctually. The BBQ was very well attended and we hope everyone enjoyed it. Congratulations to Joyce Swann on the presentation (finally!!) of the Marshal of the Year award. Well done Joyce! I think you will all agree that the racing was excellent all weekend.

A good weekend allround, good company, good food and a lot of laughs, just shame about the weather - I was told it was a tad damp outside the nice shiny new M3!
 All joking aside, many thanks for the award, it means a lot to me, even if I don't think I deserved it!! it now has pride of place on the sitting room wall
