Ralf fan club: Pre-race meeting

Hey, the JPM fans around here aren't the only ones that are alowed to have their fun. When Ralf get's his secound consecutive win this week-end in Brazil(hope my crystal ball is working), We'll see who's celebrating and who's digging for excuses.

Great idea for a thread!

Ralf is definately looking good for another win which would see him lead the championship. Berger thinks he can do it, Ralf knows he can do it...all we need now is the weather to stay warm and dry and Ralf will be at the top step of the podium come Sunday afternoon.

My guess is he'll be on a one stopper. Ferrari traditionally go for a 2 stopper at Brazil - the circuit doesent really suit them so it'll be interesting to see how everyone goes with strategy.

Personally, I think Ralf is damn strong going into this race.
It should be a classic.

another Canadian......lol

Williams is always strong in Bresil.....and the track does not really agree with the Ferrari...So im looking for a Williams victory this weekend.

If Ralf wins he will be going to Europe with the confidence he needs...this could be interresting. Since Montoya will want to get back the win he should have had last year....

I see a real improvement in the guy's racecraft. We are going to have to see how it shakes out when he gets wheel to wheel with TFG and JPM, but i think he will be able to hold his own this year. You can't look as good as Ralf did in Maylasia and not have it in the groove.

sorry to butt in people, but as a jpm supporter i think it's unfair that people "hi-jack" other supporters club threads, as, as far as i know, all the rafe supporters have been generous enough to leave our thread alone!

Hmmm, what if you support both?

Am I the only person that things Michael, Ralf and Montoya are all excellent drivers? Michael is the master. JPM is very exciting to watch. And Ralf is the quiet achiever, never hot headed, just getting the job done without risking anything.

I don't think we have seen the last win this season by Ralf after Michael and Montoya take each other out.

Ralf could win the championship this way

Thinking they are excellent drivers and supporting them are two different things. I dont think you can deny that Ralfie is an excellent driver. Certainly things would be a lot more exciting if he wouldnt mind risking it once in a while.

Hopefully we will see another Williams 1-2

James Hunt, Mike Hawthorn, Peter Collins, Stirling Moss, Jim Clark, Jackie Stewart, Ken Tyrrell - all Brits.

But that is to digress. I wish Ralf all the best this weekend. He's going to need it, but as someone up there said, he's certainly a different driver this year.

I think he's stronger for sure. He's certainly got a great chance to challenge for the title this season. It really depends on how strong Ferrari is. I think they have the better car - but maybe Williams and Ralf have reliability on their side as opposed to Ferraris new car which may run into some problems. Who knows. Fun to watch though.

Well I'm a fan JPM as well, however, when forced to choose sides, naturally I will go with Ralf. And since the other JPM fans of this forum wouldn't let me into your fan club(because I happened to like Ralf better) they won't be getting any favours from me as this Ralf vs JPM war rages on .

Hey AMoffat!! You said that if someone asked you nicely, you'd tell them why you are always gunning for Ralf. Well. nobody asked you at all, and you know why?
Because we all know you are a closet Ralf admirer, just stirring things along to bring out the best in the other Ralf fans. Why else would you be hanging around this thread?

As I am a fan of both JPM and Ralf, let me give one small prediction:
Ralf will be on a one stopper, and both JPM and MSch will be on two stoppers.
How this pans out during the race will be open to discussion now.
