According www.sportmotores.com , portuguese star Tiago Monteiro could run in 2003 for Emerson Fittipaldi new team!

The English didn't seem too bad there, I certainly see worse (often from native English speakers)

Looks like Emmo could be taking the gamble a lot of incombing team owners are thinking of, a 1 car team with a rookie driver who's done okay elsewhere. Doesn't seem like a good idea, both Bell and Dominguez have not achieved their real potential this year.

Welcome to the CART forum ARCA. First, your English is fine. Second, I hope to see Emmo get his team together. You can bet it will be a good one.

Tiago Monteiro is a good driver but he could have some difficulties to show his potencial in his first CART season. He doesn't know american tracks.

Neither did Zanardi or Montoya.

I can't imagine Emmo _not_ having a Brazilian driving for him, though.

Russfeld ... dont forget to see the big picture ... Monteiro didnt do much in 02 i agree, but dont forget to look back to the F3 years ... by the way did u know that for 3 times Monteiro and Pizzonia raced together and TM always came on top !? ... specially in Spa, Sato was also with his pants down, so ...
Go to Le Mans 2001 and compare Monteiro's lap times with Bouchut ... did you say 2 secs ?!?!?

Ugh...all these drivers I've never heard of coming out of the woodworks now with possible Cart drivers. Oh well, I have an openmind to them all, and if they don't work out, we can always use more backmarkers.

I rest my case! Hilarious? Is this a scene from some sort of porno?

I'm not having a go at some people's English skills, it's just that when learning a language as difficult as English there is bound to be some, often amusing, grammatical errors.

But that's not important. Because I have heard of Emmo, and would absolutely love for him to return to our series as an owner!

To me, I think the only driver I knew nothing was that Zlobin fellow who supposedly tests for Minardi. Otherwise I have heard of 'em all almost always.

And Russfeld, Monteiro maybe didn't set the world on fire, but Button, Raikkonen and all these fellows didn't even reach F3000...

Everybody needs to make their mark somewhere. I had never heard of Kanaan or DaMatta or Franchitti before they made their mark in CART. If the guys good he'll stay and become a household name, if not. C'est la vie!

It looks to me that he's competing with Bourdais for the testing role at Renault.

Hey DMC ... what is wrong with you ? Is this supposed to be a English class ?!?! By the way how many languages do you speak ???

For all of you that dont know Tiago, go to www.tiagoracing.com. For Sergei Zlobin go to www.minardi.it or for the 2002 F3000 Champ go to www.sebastien-bourdais.com.

Any other drivers that you may not know, try www.google.com .... maybe you can find something about them, that will provide you with enough info to prevent you saying **** about some of the guys that are players in the sport that will allegedly love.
Are u any better then these drivers "coming out of the woodworks" ???

People, people.. First I'm saying **** of no one, and I'm not better than 'em.

Second, Russfeld, it's very discussable whether drivers need or don't need F3000...

F3000 cars don't handle like F1 cars, F3 cars are actually alot closer to what F1 cars are like to drive according to Toyota tester Ryan Briscoe. Briscoe won in F Renault last year and went with a good F3000 team but because of the way the series is run could do no testing and found the style of driving reqired to make a F3000 car go was quite different from the F1 car he tested. He also ran in a couple of German F3 races in 2001 and finished second in his second F3 race against Europes best. By the middle of the 2002 F3000 he'd given up his F3000 ride and gone back to F3 instead and was running at the front. In 2003 he'll be in F3 in Germany and doing F1 testing again. It begs the question about F3000. It teaches you nothing about F1 and many are questioning its value especially as F. Nissan international is less than a F3 season and about two thirds/half as expensive as a F3000 season and the cars are better to drive and faster than F3000.

its not about whether they need them or not, he simply wasnt up to speed in them.

Tiago ran with freaking Super Nova. You cant get a better team with that. Im hoping he does a second year though because id like to see what he's capable of

There is nothing wrong with me, just as there is nothing wrong with you. All I was saying is that it is often amusing when grammatical errors are made when learning a new language. When I was learning Japanese I managed to come up with some bizzare phrases that I thought were correct, much to the amusment to most fluent Japanese speakers. This is not a personal attack on you, your ability to speak English, or where you are from so just settle down.
