Old F1 hands get behind the Wheel

Project Racing Group, owned by Andreas Leberle, conducted tests at Putnam Park for setups at Houston and while there tested some former F1 drivers, Christian Danner, Marc Surer, and Ivan Capelli. All came away suitable impressed with the power and driveability of the latest generation CART machines and at least Capelli is actively seeking a seat for next season.

Surer retired more then 10 years ago. Danner still races in touring cars once in awhile and so those Capelli. Capelli really didn't do any racing in 94-96....I know someone who is very close to Capelli, and he keeps telling that Capelli is looking for a ride in Champcars. This has been going on since 1995! He has been doing some Italian & European touring cars during the last few seasons.
I'd put him in the car. He was very good in F1, until he signed with Ferrari in 92...He'd probably need a good season of American Le Mans, first...Just to get back into it(speed and all). It would be interesting...
