Creation Test @ Donnington w/ Jean-Denis Deletraz

I happened to visit the Creation Autosportif website this morning and noticed that they had tested last month at a "damp and misty" Donington. Nicolas Minassian was on hand for the test along with new comer (to the team) Jean-Denis Deletraz. Apparently they had been trying to put together a test for Deletraz for some time.

"Team Principal, Ian Bickerton, was impressed from the start. "Jean-Denis was on it right from the start, very impressive. It was quite damp in the morning and we used wet-weather tyres, but JDD was right there on the times. He took to the DBA like a duck to water and was very professional throughout, as you would expect. The day went smooth as clockwork.

"We've been talking about doing this for a while, giving him a go in a prototype, and it was good to be able to fit it in before it gets too late in the year - even if Donington did decide to pull down the pits in our honour! Jean-Denis is looking at doing a sportscar programme for 2006 but it's too soon to say if it will be with us or with someone else."

Sorry if this was mentioned before, as it is a bit old. Are they looking for a third driver, or looking to replace a driver?

Think they're looking for funded drivers for a second car.

And considering the fact that Piccini is almost Deletraz' son by now...
